Belleville Wix Academy is a vibrant and supportive place to work. We are a successful school with a focus on positive learning behaviour and high expectations for all children. We are in a vibrant area of south London, close to Clapham Junction and Clapham Common, with excellent transport links to central London and across the south of England.

Belleville Wix Academy is part of Quality First Education (Q1E), a successful Multi-Academy Trust with four primary schools on five sites across south London. This is an exciting time for us and we want the best people to join us as we grow further.

The Quality First Education (Q1E) Trust and Belleville Wix Academy seek strong class teachers who share our vision of an excellent education for all.

We welcome Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and we think our trust is a really great place to start a teaching career.

We welcome applications for class teaching roles starting in September 2025.

We are a primary-only Trust of four schools in London, with a vision of an excellent education for all. We pride ourselves on our 'quality first' provision, for our children, staff, and schools.

At Q1E, we believe that ‘the quality of an education system (or school) cannot exceed the quality of its teachers” (McKinsey 2007). We provide excellent opportunities for class teachers, with outstanding professional development and support from the outset.

We ensure our teachers have the resources they need to do an excellent job, supported by a high quality, well sequenced curriculum. We provide you with plans for all lessons, in all core and foundation subjects.

If you are new to teaching, you will be supported every step of the way. We are very proud of the support we provide for Early Career Teachers, starting with a paid three-week induction programme in July.

Our staff and schools are supported by great leaders, as well as our central team who provide ongoing pedagogical support and training.

Our trust is big enough to have excellent support and resources, and a great network of colleagues to work with and learn from - but small enough for colleagues to know each other really well, and provide bespoke support.

We recruit every year for new teachers to join us in September. Recruitment is ongoing until positions are filled. We encourage an early response, as applications are shortlisted regularly. Our first shortlisting date is Friday 10th January 2025.

We have a single application form for our trust, so you can apply to more than one of our four schools at the same time if you wish.

All posts in Q1E schools are subject to an enhanced DBS with barred list check. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children. We may carry out online searches of shortlisted candidates.
