Parent partnership is valued at BWA. We know the importance of working well with parents and carers because they are the first educators of their child and parent involvement matters.
We want our parents to be informed about what their child is being taught in school and how they might help support their child further at home. Parent workshops are offered throughout the year and we actively encourage parents to let us know what support would be helpful for them.
Teachers are available to speak with parents daily and a termly consultation is offered.
Home School Agreement
At Belleville Wix Academy we continually strive to provide the very best for your children. We are required by the Government to publish a Home-School Agreement that reflects:
- Belleville Wix Academy’s aims and values;
- the School’s responsibilities towards its pupils who are of compulsory school age;
- the responsibility of each pupil, parents or carers;
- what the school expects of its pupils.
We have tried to create an agreement that is readily accessible to parents, carers, staff and children, which reflects the school and its community.
We invite you to sign it and return it to the school office as soon as possible. It is your prerogative to decide whether you wish to sign the Agreement and we will ensure that no family or child is disadvantaged if they prefer not to.
