Article ImageWelcome to Belleville Wix Academy. We are a successful, vibrant & inclusive primary school which shares a special, bi-cultural community with École de Wix. We have a class taught in English and a bilingual class taught in English and French in each year group from Reception to Year 6 and a Nursery taught in English.

We were judged Ofsted 'Good' in October 2019 with an 'Outstanding' Early Years provision. Children are happy and successful here, and achieve well beyond the national average.

Belleville Wix Academy is part of the Quality First Education Trust. Together, we have a reputation for leading the way in educational development and a relentless drive for improvement, excellence and equality, delivering a quality first education to all the children in our care. Deciding which school to send your child to is a very important decision. We welcome children from all parts of our local community and are ready and experienced to help your child settle in quickly, whether they join us in NurseryReception or in Years 1 – 6.

PROPOSED CHANGE TO ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS FOR 2025-26

The Quality First Education (Q1E) Trust recently consulted on a proposed change to the admission arrangements for Belleville Wix Academy, to remove the requirement for families of siblings to live within 800 metres of the school. The consultation closed in January 2024 and the trust board considered all responses. The Trust has now made this change, for reception entry in September 2025 and beyond. Our hope is that this change will support our families, keep siblings together, and make our admissions policy easier to understand.

You can download our consultation document for full details of the proposal that was adopted.
