Belleville Wix Academy is a vibrant and supportive place to work. Teaching Assistants 

We are looking for great Teaching Assistants to join our team of education support staff.

You will support our pupils to access learning, and provide general support to teachers in the management of resources, pupils and the classroom. Your work may include work with small groups or individual pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

 

We are looking for people who:

  • are committed and reliable;
  • are positive, enthusiastic, flexible, helpful and friendly;
  • have good literacy, numeracy, communication and IT skills;
  • have some experience of supporting or working with children;
  • are interested in education and child development;
  • ideally have some experience of working in a primary school (not essential).

The roles are offered on a permanent, full-time contract, term-time only. The actual salary for this term-time only role is £21,270 pa. (Full-time equivalent salary £27,306).
